compromise is an even more negative word nowadays. i was incredibly tired of hearing “both/and” at previous jobs

sometimes it’s an either/or

sometimes it’s a compromise

but if you want a less dirty word - use “tradeoff”

especially with ai we are making tradeoffs ALL the time.

(often trading time to pull the slot machine that is prompting/loops)
